96th Oscar Shortlists Announced
Ahead of the nominations for the 96th Academy Awards being announced next month, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences announced the nomination shortlists for 10 categories for the upcoming Oscars.
These shortlists of 10-15 titles will go on to be shortened to five nominated films and craftspeople, with a winner in each category being announced on March 10, 2024, during the ceremony.
Categories with announced shortlists include Best International Feature, Documentary Feature, the Short Film categories, and select Technical Categories.

Nominations voting begins on Thursday, January 11, 2024, and concludes on Tuesday, January 16, 2024.
Nominations for the 96th Academy Awards will be announced on Tuesday, January 23, 2024.
The 96th Oscars will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2024, at the Dolby® Theatre at Ovation Hollywood and will be televised live on ABC and in more than 200 territories worldwide.
