It’s Sundance season, and that means two things: A preview of this year’s film slate, with critics deciding what’s in and what’s out, and studios snatching up distribution rights to indie projects in hopes of profit. Netflix has made its second big purchase of the festival, picking up Fair Play from MRC and T-Street. This is the latest project of theirs to be put out by Netflix, with the most recent being the majorly successful Glass Onion. Fair Play received majorly positive reviews coming out of its Sundance premiere, and ours will be dropping later this week. The film stars Phoebe Dynevor and Alden Ehrenreich in the lead roles, and highlights the varying dynamics of workplace relationships and the power associated with them.
