Winners: 'Everything Everywhere All At Once' Takes Home The Top Prize At PGA

In the past decade-and-a-half, the PGA (Producer’s Guild of America) Awards have been the most accurate precursor for the inevitable Best Picture Oscar winner, with the film that took the top prize here going on to win all but three times. With five films being the true contenders still competing for Best Picture after the BAFTA awards, this was the night that will give the best insight into who will be celebrating on Oscar night.

This year, A24’s Everything Everywhere All At Once won the top prize, making it the clearest frontrunner for Best Picture. Additionally, The Daniels (directors, Everything Everywhere All At Once) won Best Director (motion picture) at the DGA (Director’s Guild) awards last weekend, putting them in the top spot to win Best Director, an award that is generally considered to be necessary to pull off the Best Picture win.
