To save you some time and address why you clicked on this article: Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 has two post-credit scenes. The first comes after the main credits, played over Bruce Springsteen’s Badlands, which plays directly into the scene. The second post-credit scene falls after the rolling credits and comes before the film’s final title card.

What Happens In The Guardians Post-Credit Scenes?

In the first post-credit scene, we pick up with the new team of Guardians, led by Rocket Racoon (Bradley Cooper), as they prepare to take on an army of beasts and defend a city. The new team, containing new and old members, is made up of Rocket, Adam Warlock (Will Poulter), Groot (Vin Diesel), Cosmo (Maria Bakalova), Kraglin (Sean Gunn), Phyla, and Blurp. The scene cuts before the battle begins, but it’s safe to assume that this team of Guardians will be back for more.

The second post-credit scene takes place on Earth and finds Peter (Chris Pratt) reuniting with his grandfather. While this seems like the happy —and final— ending for the character, a title card reveals that “The Legendary Star-Lord Will Return.”

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3. is now in theaters.
