'Spider-Man: Across The Spider Verse' Rounds Out Cast With Samberg And Stenberg
It’s now release week for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, and that means that all the cards are on the table for Sony’s latest venture into their animated world(s) of spider-people. Before more audiences get to see the film tomorrow, Sony figured it was a good time to confirm who would be the voices of the rest of the prominent spider-lings of the film, including the official confirmations of Andy Samberg and Karan Soni’s castings while announcing that Amandla Stenberg had joined the film.
Samberg, whose casting was first reported by our friends at One Take News, has been confirmed to play fan-favorite character Ben Riley, who first appeared in the Spider-Man Clone Saga issue of comics, where he was a clone of Peter Parker. In the case of Stenberg’s casting, she’ll voice Spider-Byte, a character who first came into the comics world in 2018 and has had limited appearances since.
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse hits theaters this Friday, June 2. Keep an eye out for our review, coming this Wednesday.
More to come…
