TheWrap releases an article on the same basis that Batgirl has been canceled and will not release theatrically or on HBO Max.

At this point, most fans and other reputable sources were skeptical about believing the news surrounding the film. Still, as reports continued to pour out stating the same thing, reputability grew.

One of the most reputable sources in film, THR, confirmed this information by stating, ‘‘Batgirl’ and ‘Scoob!: Holiday Haunt’ Scrapped at Warner Bros. Amid Cost-Savings Push.”

Why Warner Bros. made this decision is unclear, but fans have already started tweeting #ReleaseTheBatgirlMovie, and the campaign is underway. It’s up to the studio to proceed from here.
